Erection of 18m Wind Turbine - Hoveton Old Hall, Stone Lane, Ashmanhaugh

Although Hoveton Old Hall is outside our boundary, North Norfolk District Council sent a copy of the above application to the Parish Council as the site is very close tp the village. Ashmanhaugh Parish Council Objected to this application on the following grounds.

1  The 18m mast was thought to be too high for the rural area in which it was to be placed.

2  There will be a visual impact on the landscape.

3  It will be sited within the grounds of a Grade II listed building.

4 There was concern the noise level, especially at night.

5  There was limited information on the Environmental Statement given with the planning application.
