28th April 2007 Barn Dance at Fundenhall
On Saturday night a Barn Dance was held to raise funds for the restoration of Fundenhall Church and achieved £1500.Approx 400 people turned up for an excellent evening in Robert Bothway’s barn at the Grange Fundenhall. A large team of volunteers had worked hard to prepare and continued on the evening running the bar, cooking and serving the welcome burgers, taking tickets and clearing up. This all helped to make it very enjoyable. Music was mainly 70’s with some barn dance music. Many people danced and more than one set of toes suffered but no one minded. The level of talk throughout the evening was an indicator of the relaxed and enjoyable nature of the event.Thank you to everyone. The amount raised will be added to this note as soon as possible. Pictures will be added to the Photo Album in the next few days.
