New organic veg box delivery service: Oct 2009

A new organic vegetable box delivery service is beginning in the Parish from Tuesday 20 October 2009. Mark & Eliska Cheeseman of Deopham Green are independent local licensed distributors for Riverford Organic Vegetables. They provide boxes of locally sourced, sustainably grown and minimally packaged fresh vegetables at competitive prices. Delivery is free and there is a great variety of choice. Vegetable boxes can be supplemented with a range of meat, dairy, cheese, pasta, fruit and wine options.

Most of the produce is grown at Sacrewell Farm in Peterborough; if you are interested in seeing what's on offer, please visit the website at www.riverford.co.uk/sacrewell. The website has some good recipes for using 'in season' produce imaginatively.
